This is my first Sim story, so don't murder me. Just kidding, haha. This is a legacy story, so no cheats or household changes were used in the making of this!
We begin our story in the town of Sunset Valley, home to Jaeden Blair. Jaeden is just like any other sim, except he has one dream: to become a famous celebrity-inventor. His traits- Eccentric, Childish, Mooch, Neurotic, and Heavy Sleeper. This is his and the Blair family story.
Like any good want-to-be inventor, Jaeden started out his day by, well, inventing. He finished his first two pieces of crap- I mean inventions quickly. After this, however, he knew he needed to do something. He ran into the kitchen and put dialed the number to City Hall. He had to call and self-employ himself as an Inventor, and at a moments notice he was outside in his Sloppy Jalopy driving to City Hall to fill out the necessary paperwork. Upon his arrival home, he quickly went back to his work station. On his third invention, the one he immediately started creating, there was a slight mishap. Jaeden accidentally electrocuted himself, leaving his clothes on the floor, his hair standing upright, and his body covered in ash. After a quick neurotic freak out, Jaeden was back on his feet and calm as a kitten.
With a quick load of laundry and an even quicker shower, Jaeden ended up in the kitchen to make himself some dinner. After a rigorous five sim-minutes of contemplation, he decided on making his favorite meal, mac and cheese. With the hours running late, and there being no more scraps, Jaeden decided that he should just go to bed.
Waking up early the next morning, with me not wanting to tell him to cook, Jaeden ordered a pizza for his breakfast. It was after that that he set out to look for some more scraps to use for his inventions. After some searching, he found around 100 scraps. Proudly, he went home to shower. And then he decided it was time to meet the neighbors. He traveled across the street and rang the door bell. And it was then that he saw her.
...Only to have another post-electrocution freak out. After a few hours of inventing and creating, Jaeden decided to try his luck again and head over to Madelyn's house. With an empty belly and no cash, Jaeden ended up flirting the entire time he was there. That was until around midnight when Jaeden decided to mooch some large sum of money off of Madelyn. At this point, I was sitting in my chair thinking, "How is a whole nine bucks a large sum of money??" After going home for a good rest, Jaeden awoke the next morning to a call on his cell phone. It was an opportunity of a lifetime: clean up the bookstore for a day to earn some money and scraps. Of course, I had to take it.
Jaeden then decided to go and drop off some of his works of art at the consignment store. It was there that he had a pleasant surprise (I custom made Maddy and moved her into her house, but even I had no idea about this. Thank you, EA Story Progresser! haha). Madelyn was working the register of the store! Of course, Jaeden couldn't resist the urge to say "Hi!", and so he did. He said hi. He flirted. He hugged. And then they kissed. Jaeden's got a girlfriend!
After a beautiful day, Jaeden went home to turn in for the day. He awoke to the most pleasant surprise of all: The Repoman- urm.... Repowoman was taking his items. That heavy sleeper trait really does come in handy, right? Chapter 1, End.
